Available: 1982 to mid 90s
Brief history of car:
The RW Karma started life as an American import. Body molds were taken from the American version and adapted for the UK market.
Roger Woolley was the man to bring the Karma to the UK kit scene and initially produced it using the VW Beetle floorpan and all running gear - a popular route to the kit car market in the day. Over 1000 kits were produced in total, a great achievment, although you don't tend to see many on the road today.
It wasn't long before customers demanded more power so a custom chassis was produced to take mid-engined power up to V8 engines. The Rover V8 was the V8 of choice. Fibreglass work was questionable and can make tired Karma's look rough. There are a few peaches here and there though.
