Available: 1950s
Brief history of car:
The Martin Plastics body shell sold as a complete body for fitment to a 1938 to 1954 Ford 8-10hp chassis. Supplied complete with scuttle, dashboard, wheel arches, returned edges, bonded front floor boards and re-inforced body fitting points.
Quite a neat touch was the concealed door furniture, a finish many customisers seek today. A pretty little car but very little known about them.
The Martin body came with a seperate bonnet and full width windscreen frame. Price of the complete body when finished in primer was 100 GBP. If you opted for just a simple bodyshell then the price was 50 GBP. It was also available in left or right hand drive.
