Available: 1968 to mid 90s
Brief history of car:
The GP Buggy was based around a shortened VW Beetle chassis initially although long wheel base models came along not long after on unshortened Beetle chassis.
Minimalist and fun is the order of the day with buggies, so mechanical components where simply transferred from the VW Beetle to the buggy including the engine and gearbox.
Simple bodywork was fabricated in fibreglass and either left in gelcoat colour or left for the customer to paint (often in metalflake) 4 seat flexibility was obtained with the unshortened VW chassis.
