Available: 1983 to 1985
Brief history of car:
The Moss Mamba was an acquired taste although supposedly based loosely on the Alfa Giulietta Sprint Spyder. A short production run saw only a handful sold. The Moss Owners club believes this to be between 16 and 22.
Based on the Triumph Herald or Vitesse chassis with a plywood/fibreglass sandwich floor the Mamba used all the Triumph running gear, engine, gearbox and windscreen.
The GRP bodywork didn't set the world alight in terms of quality and the overall package was a bit crude. Moss did offer their own Ford based chassis, it's not known how many of these exist.
