Brief history of car:

The JC Wyvern was a 1930's style vintage kit car from JC Composites in Hereford Worcs. Based on mechanical components from a Vauxhall Viva HC, Magnum or Firenza utilizing the range of engines from the humble 1256cc four pot right up to the 2279cc engine found in the Magnum.

The chassis was constructed from 3" x 2" box section steel and came to the customer ready primed. GRP work was said to be first class.

Price for the basic kit in 1985 was 1660 GBP. You could add 35 GBP to that if you opted for the Ford Escort engine mounts which was an option from that year (Ford 1300 and 1600cc engines). The Wyvern project was sold on in 1986 and seems to have demised at that point.
