Welcome to Classic-Kitcars. Comprehensive classic kitcar listings, picture galleries and articles from the golden age of kit cars.
Available: 1985 to early 90s
Brief history of car:
The Seraph was the latest incarnation of the Bonito, a very loose GT40 style design based on VW Beetle mechanicals.
Seraph Cars redesigned the chassis to take Ford Cortina running gear and engines and created a strong backbone chassis.
Hard pushed to see any on the roads nowadays and not the most sophisticated of cars being based on a Cortina. Pretty much made redundant once the kit car manufacturers worked out a way to reliably create authentic GT40 replicas.
